Designed and printed posters for display use by foreign distributors. Designed and executed proofs based on CAD drawings in Photoshop for print-shop produced product labels.

Assisted in securing advertising space and producing layout for advertising in various trade publications.

Photographed product for use in print advertisement, manuals, posters and banner displays. Designed and executed proofs in Photoshop for print-shop produced banner displays.

Saved company $3000 – $5000 annually by negotiating best pricing on shipping, services and materials acquired from suppliers.

Researched and purchased materials and services based on drawings, spec sheets and requisitions. Authorized payment of invoices and forwarded to accountant.

(Left position due to family emergency and relocation to Ocala, Florida)

Kept all dairy related display cases stocked and rotated. Kept all beer products stocked and rotated. Kept dairy and beer stockrooms rotated and sanitary. Assisted management in maintaining inventory.

Rotated and built various displays. Assisted at checkout stations during peak periods. Worked with management to complete time sensitive special projects successfully. Provided assistance to customers on the main floor.

01.05 – 03.06    Quality Assurance/Business Compliance/Dispatcher (Traffic) – APX Logistics

Coordinated and monitored recording, manifesting and dispatching of 10,000 – 70,000 packages of incoming freight between Operations, Traffic, Production, and Postal departments.

Using forensic data mining, uncovered faults in routing and processing of freight. Resultant changes in procedure saved the company money allowing them to maintain customer accounts otherwise lost. Saved the company over $3000 in postal fines over a six month period.

09.03-12.04    Technologist/Office Manager – Taylormark Consulting, LLC

Consulting firm that serviced mixed Windows and MAC OS X networks. Firm also developed and delivered training in use of MAC OS X systems to former Windows users.

Coordinated scheduling and project management for 3-person team of technicians servicing individuals and corporate clients. Maintained invoicing and payroll records. Assisted in resolving customer relations issues.

Assisted in installation, setup, configuration and maintenance of 140-node network running Apple OS X. Authored training documentation and presented training in Mac OS X, Entourage, and MS Word.

06.03-11.04     Instructor, Digital Photography Class (Volunteer) Apple Corps of Dallas, TX

Demonstrated basic techniques in Photoshop to group members at monthly meetings. Planned and led walkabouts in Dallas to teach basic day and nighttime shooting techniques.

08/09.04     Guest Art Director/Editor – (Volunteer) Apple Corps of Dallas, TX

Executed cover and end page art; wrote product reviews. Assisted in layout and presentation.

10.91 – 3.97    Instructor (Trainer) & Team Chief  – U.S. Army

Assisted with the design and editing of training products in 14 distinct presented subjects.

Presented training to over 2500 students (in groups of 12 – 30) with a failure rate of less than three percent. Trained and supervised a team of five instructors. Was selected to train soldiers from allied nations including Greece, Turkey, and Israel.

Proofread and edited training to be delivered via CD. Saved the United States Army over $600,000 in production costs by finding and correcting errors prior to production. Personally accountable for  $900,000 of equipment.

1989-1990    Public Relations Officer – (In addition to my normal duties.) – U.S. Army (Europe)

Assisted in coordinating ceremonies, special events, and conferences with local and national government representatives of Germany and other NATO allies. Photographed and reported these events for my command.
