On Saturday, 22 October, we attended the The Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival.
Here are some scenes from the festival. As always, there was good food, and the smell of that food cooking was infectious! (A person was instantly hungry. It was like in the Bugs Bunny cartoons where the smoke filled the air and Bugs’ nose would follow the scent as he floated trough the air to find the source.) There were also some great wares being offered for sale. Standouts included Jams & Jellies from Ginger’s Jams, Jellies and Such and some killer Beef Jerky from Redneck Steak. We also picked up a “Black Czech Hot Pepper” plant. We also visited with Becky Sinn at Leonardo’s Music and Antiques, which boasts some great vintage instruments for sale!
If you have never been to The Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival, you should make plans to attend the next one. It is time well spent visiting with old friends and making new ones.
