Cirque du Sinn: Becky Sinn CD Release Party

On Friday, September 14th, local favorite Becky Sinn held a CD release party that was a Burlesque themed carnival. The event was held at the Ghost Rider Saloon, in Ocala. As this was a carnival, there were different booths throughout the area that included dart throwing, fortune-telling, and Jenni Hoops selling her hand-made Hula Hoops. There were burlesque dancers twirling to the music playing in the background, and people greeting old friends and making new ones. Although the event was outside, and it rained on and off, no one let that dampen their spirits and enthusiasm.

After a bit, Becky welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming. Then she sang songs from her CD “Myne Owne” and as she did so, a different dancer performed each song with her. When Becky finished, there was a brief intermission during which everyone was thanked again. Also, the winner was announced for the raffle benefiting The Humane Society. After this, there was a screening of a video directed by Erica Summers documenting small adventures in the life of Becky Sinn.

The party was a smashing success for Becky and her friends who worked so hard to make this a reality. We wish Becky good luck with her awesome new CD.
